Bill Adams has been in the cutlery industry since the early 1970s; he spent a lot of time in Sheffield during the early 70s, started up Atlanta Cutlery and travelled all over the world looking for knives to import. Bill has written several books and magazine articles (The Antique Bowie Knife Book and Sheffield Exhibition Knives, plus articles on the history of cutlery.) Bill is a member of the Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall Of Fame.
It is a pleasure to tell folks about Eddie White!
Eddie is a true master knifemaker; bar none, as well as being a wonderful friend.
Eddie worked for years in some of the top custom shops in the United States--and tops in the world--and made knives for Benchmark and Blackie Collins.
When Eddie makes something, it is finished to perfection. He is absolutely the finest knife grinder I have ever seen--and I have spent 35 years in the cutlery industry. The way Eddie grinds and makes knives has been a revelation to other custom knifemakers who have only recently seen his work at shows, under his own name. It is very heartening to see such a great "unsung hero" become known to the knife collecting community and receive the recognition he so justly deserves.
